Mr. Zales joined Pine Brook in September of 2009 as a marketing and investor relations Associate. Prior to joining Pine Brook, Mr. Zales worked in the Customized Fund Investment Group at Credit Suisse. While at Credit Suisse, Mr. Zales worked in the investor relations group and was responsible for managing relationships with institutional investors. Prior to joining Credit Suisse, Mr. Zales was an Associate in the Alternatives Advisory and Placement Group at Lehman Brothers where he worked on private equity fundraising assignments. Mr. Zales began his career in the investment banking group at Merrill Lynch and the Debt Capital Markets Group at ABN AMRO. Mr. Zales graduated Summa Cum Laude from Cornell University and holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management. He is Series 7 and 66 certified and passed level 1 of the Chartered Financial Analyst Program.
